Refund Policy
Version 2026-10-26-draft; effective 2026-10-26.
Every part is made to order, so the refund rules follow where the job is when you ask. This page says what you get back at each stage.
Before printing starts
Cancel any time before the first print starts and you get a full refund, including any setup fee. Tell us by replying to the confirmation email or from the order page.
After printing has started
Once a part is on a printer, the material and machine time spent are charged at cost (the material and machine lines on your breakdown); labour not yet done and shipping not yet paid are refunded. If every part is already printed, the order is not refundable, but see below for defects.
Defective or wrong parts
If a part arrives damaged, differs from what you ordered (wrong material, colour, quantity or settings) or is outside the tolerance in the Terms, tell us within 14 days of delivery or pickup with a photo. We reprint it at no charge, or refund that line if a reprint is not possible. Parts that match your file and settings but do not suit the use you intended are not defective; talk to us before ordering if fit matters.
Shipping
Shipping is refunded when the whole order is cancelled before dispatch, or when a defective order is returned at our request. We cover return shipping for defects; otherwise the customer pays it.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5 to 10 business days of our confirmation. Each refund is recorded on your order with its reason.
